Create your own cosmetics line

Before discussing formulas, clarify three points. They will save you time and money in all subsequent stages.

• Who you are targeting: your salon clients, beauty center patients, online shoppers, retailers.
• Where you will sell: in-store, on e-commerce sites, on social media, in pharmacies. The channel influences the final price, format, and packaging.
• How many SKUs you are starting with: our advice is to start with 2-4 products that work well together (for example, shampoo, conditioner, and a mask), test the market, and expand the line later.

You have two options, depending on timing, budget, and how much you want to stand out.

We create products for hair care, skin care, body care, color care, treatments, and pet care, using natural and plant-based raw materials.

Packaging is the first thing the customer sees, but it must also be compatible with the formula. There are three main choices:

• Size:  from 30ml up to 1000ml and beyond.
• Material: plastic or glass.
• Dispenser: cap, disk-top, pump, spray, airless.

You can choose from our packaging models or provide us with your own bottles and caps: in any case, we check the compatibility with the product before production.

The label must be attractive, but above all compliant with the European Cosmetics Regulation (EC 1223/2009). Mandatory information includes:

• name or registered company name and address of the Responsible Person;
• net contents (ml or g);
• list of ingredients using INCI nomenclature;
• batch number;
• best before date or PAO (the open jar symbol);
• product function and precautions for use, if necessary.

We can take care of the logo, labels and boxes, or you can provide us with your artwork: we will check it to prevent errors in the mandatory information.

In Europe, a cosmetic product can only be sold if accompanied by the documentation required by law. The main steps:

• Laboratory testing: microbiological tests and stability tests carried out by accredited external laboratories.
• Safety assessment: a qualified assessor certifies that the product is safe for its intended use.
• PIF (Product Information File): the product's technical dossier, containing the formula, test results, safety assessment, and manufacturing information. It must be available to the regulatory authorities.
• CPNP notification: the registration of the product on the European cosmetics portal, which is mandatory before it is placed on the market.
• Responsible Person: the entity established in the European Union that is responsible for the product's compliance.

Production starts from 500 pieces per reference (1,000 for the 50 ml size). The unit price decreases as quantities increase:
